This game is a masterpiece. It is free to play and has no pay to win. Combat is fun, and has depth to it, exploration and graphics are top notch and it's actually pretty decently optimized which is a very rare case nowadays.

The story is great, I feel like I'm playing Witcher 3 all of a sudden due to how the secondary quest add to the overall lore/story of the game rather than feel like a chore. What are you waiting for? Go and Try it.

If you are expecting a well made remake (Like Resident Evil 2 Remake) you are in for a few surprises. RE3 can't quite live up to its predecessor. Almost everything this game does right is packed in the beginning area of the game (downtown Raccoon City). The game's opening sequence, ammo scarcity, jump scares and constant chases by Nemesis (within Downtown area) are definitely its strongest points.

Compared to the Good old RE3, some story elements were touched to bring them up to modern standards, which was a good call. On the other hand, I was expecting Nemesis to be more of an ever-present thread, Like RE 2's Mr. X or RE 7's Jack Baker or just like Nemesis was on its original run.

The developers this time decided to remove a lot of the game's puzzles and a whole bunch of areas from the original (Raccoon City Park, Graveryard, City Hall, Press Office, Clock Tower, Dead Factory), they also removed the branching paths and different endings based on the player's decision during cutscenes, in addition they also removed "The Mercenaries" and decided to rush Nemesis transformations so you are limited to basically two Chases and 4 boss fight with Nemesis, which is pretty much this game's identity.

This game can be finished by someone new to the survival horror genre in about 7 hours, normally this short of a run time wouldn't be a problem if the game had different modes/reasons to replay (Like RE2's extra main scenarios) but they are not present.

TL;DR: This is a visually stunning game updated to modern standards that suffers from A LOT] of cut content and rushes the player to its ending without any sort of reason to replay it. Do yourself a favor a wait for a sale before buying this game.

Excelente re-imaginación del juego original. Bastante atractivo en cuanto a su jugabilidad por el hecho de que regresa a las raices del juego (survival horror) al tener pocos recursos (municiones, curaciones), lo zombies ser en extremo duros y tener un ambiente propicio para el suspenso.

Pero... como es costumbre, el juego tiene sus fallas. Hay incongruencia en el desarrollo de ciertos eventos de acuerdo a las Campañas A y B. Capcom optó por no usar el sistema de "zipping" que uso en el juego original, de modo que no hay forma de que haya una historia "cannon" en este juego.

De todos modos es un juego maravilloso y altamente recomendable para todos los fan old school de la serie.

Puntuaje: 9/10
