ARC Raiders is an excellent example of how best to blend the PvPvE extraction shooter genre with a variety of new and old gameplay mechanics. With its in-depth crafting system that gives you a reason to care about the loot you gain, to the self-adjusting matchmaking system that can provide adequate responsiveness to your playstyle, ARC is truly an amazing game.

Is spoopy and I had to hide under the covers

While not of the same tier as Rocksteady's Arkham series, Gotham Knights does an excellent job in putting you into the boots of our favourite four caped crusaders. Beautiful scenery, excellent traversal (save some oddities here and there with typical engine goofiness) and a rather in-depth investigation system tie this game together to really show off the Batworld once again.

Choices matter. Choices don’t matter. The story is there. The story isn’t there. Stanley writes good stories. Stanley doesn’t exist. Did Stanley ever exist?

Such an amazing step up from the last entry in the series, and despite a long wait time for this one it was definitely well deserved. Devs are continuing to improve on issues as they see them, however as it stands the game is still very much in a playable state which is great for an early access.

While some may find this game daunting because of its sheer open world aspect, many will find it a breath of fresh air to have on hands to hold or floating arrows to follow. Simply put, Hardland is as open of a world as you will ever get in a video game and that is in no way a bad thing.

Hardland offers something that is so unique in its offerings that anyone can craft a story out of the game, and be rewarded justly for it. I highly recommend this game for those who crave for a story that initially seems blank in its pages but dig deeper and it blossoms into a wonderful book of everything adventurous.

I mean...it is dwarfs. What else can I say but buy this game?

I had previously been suffering from acute parenting troubles where I wasn't able to function properly as an adult let alone as a parent of children, however I was recommended this game by my epihany in hopes it would help reduce my need to throw children into hordes of seagulls. Turns out this game was quite accurately my cure for the illness, and I couldn't be any happier with how well-equipped I am at dealing with my children when the need arises to rescue them from kangaroos or those awkward shopping moments.

Absolutely gorgeous game, best gameplay ever.

Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. More of these style of games need to come from AAA studios, and the procedural animation definitely needs to be pushed into Assassin's Creed.
