Early Access Review
Oh god where do I begin. I heavily do not recommend this game for a large amount of reason. This is coming from a person who plays 4v1 games religiously. So lets begin.

1. The hit detection oh god the hit detection. best way to describe it is that it is like trying to hit a shot glass with a sniper 3 miles away on a highly windy day in the middle of the dark. When a killer or survivor try to hit each other its a struggle. they circle each other where the killer themselves is the loop. I didn't think that it was that bad from watching videos but there is nothing and I mean nothing that helps you hit them you have to hit them dead on right against their body. So that means if your killer and your chasing you have to be right against them to hit them. Like your trying to wait for a dead hard trigger for dbd players. If your not that close to them then you will not be able to hit them. This also goes for the killer abilities which takes a skill shot to a whole new level.

2. The killer themselves is able to be stunned way to often and way to much. For example normally you would expect if you and a survivor fell off a edge the survivor would suffer a bigger stun then you would. This is true for most 4v1 games that have fall stuns. The killer gets the same amount of stun then the survivor making it impossible to complete a chase sometimes if there are maps with multiple falls. I do like how the game blocks off falls like that after being used a specific amount of time but that still doesn't excuse the next thing which is the massive amount of stuns given to the survivors. This means Screen covers, Stuns, Long range damage, and other items. These items can indeed stun lock the killer if they survivors time it right. They do indeed have a cool down but when the maps gives the survivors about 30 items in one game it becomes almost impossible to avoid. You are forced to bring in perks to deal with it which shouldn't be a thing in core game mechanics. Not only that as well when they finish a ritual the killers screen almost goes black for a second so if your in a chase. there is a huge chance they can sneak by as everything starts to morph into each other.

3. Some of the killers attacks cause them to completely stop in place before attacking. This to me is a terrible mechanic because as everyone knows w gaming is the counter to this and when the killer doesn't have a lunge attached to that stop attack then all they have to do to avoid attack is just move forward as soon as they see you stop to attack. This would be different of this was a ability but that is the main attack of the character. So you have just made his attack unusable.

4. Next is the micros this is a early access game not a complete game. Ontop of that the game comes with two killers one of them is the one I stated above where his attack is just counter by moving foward half a inch. So really it comes with one playable character. You have to BUY the other four current killers. Now normally I dont mind this because I understand that the game is cheaper and they are trying to make something out of it, BUT even 13th had different versions of the SAME killer making it like it was different killers. Along with silence having different version that work. This has one just one. Though i will admit you can buy the other 4 killers for 10 usd this is still not something you should do when your game is in EARLY ACCESS. This is something you do in a complete and established game.

5. This games map creation is absolutely awful. There are multiple places where you can just evade the killer and they have to break the chase and take probably 15 seconds to get to where you were. That to me is unacceptable. Ant top of that the way you see where they are (like scratch marks in dbd) they are so wide and hard to read that most new/ intermediate players cannot effectively use them to figure out where they went. The reason I say that is say they went through a door to a split hallway. The way the marks work is they will effectively cover both paths so when you are looking through that door to you it looks like they went both ways. So you go left and then realize nope they didn't go that way and have to turn to realize that the marks have vanished and they are gone. This also doesn't help that they are like very close to the same speed as the killer so the point where running around a fountain can take 30's to catch up before you can ATTEMPT (see reasons 1) to hit them.

6. My final problem is the sound oh god its awful you cannot tell if you hit them even if you do and not only that you as the killer are so loud that trying to hear the other players is god awful because you have to decide if you are the person making that noise or the person your chasing.

I cannot recommend this game and quite frankly I don't want to support this until they heavily and i mean heavily balance and fix the game/maps/mechanics/everything. Also i know people complain about the servers as well but i can understand that because its still new and figuring itself out. But the servers are indeed trash. one match I was about 400 ping that is god awful saying i have 1gb internet and pride myself in having the best speeds. So that just tells me that also needs to be fixed to.

So I played this game and honestly it helped me out. I played all the games in the series and got the --twin word orderly.-- for 1 and 3 or that's what the game told me to put. Sadly just because of the moment I am writing this I am couldn't remember the word i got for the second game, but I agree with this game a lot. I am a vet that deals with PTSD from service and events before the military and have bad problems with suicide and other self options. I also have issues when it comes to myself and depression. I would love to be able to help these guys as much as a I can because I also lost my father to suicide and that is something I don't want to see anyone go through. I agree with what this game said to me and honestly this game has told me stuff my own medical therapist has told me as well. So there is that as well. The process of you answering the questions is its own type of thought process. If you do play these games please be honest do not lie. No one is going to see your answers so there is no reason to lie. You will learn something that you might need to hear.

I love this game to death its amazing and simple and with mods it can have almost any song you want. Its clean the boxes always stay on beat. (with the exception of modded songs sometime). Along with the songs that you buy are outstanding.

This is i think the first game i have ever wrote. It will probably be the only. But this game. This game is amazing. its something you need to play. It made me think about things I did not think I would ever think about. Made me feel things I had pent up. Also helped me solve things i did not even know. just know there is no meaning to life and I am happy that this game showed me that and showed me the real way of thinking about it.
