I must say, ELDEN RING is and will be an ambitious project for a long time, it might just have the longevity of games like TF2 or Destiny. Even if not, then the community will rise to keep making content until everything's been explored. Despite content droughts and constant bug abuse in the PvP setting, those are issues that will either never be fully solved or only partially "fixed" for the time being. I really only got into the DARK SOULS series at around the time when DS3 had it's last update. There I had gotten the intended experience of from the game's potential. However, ELDEN RING is still recent, and will take quite a while to fully touch up on. No matter how long it takes, I await the day in which we travel beyond into the game as FromSoftware imagined ELDEN RING to become.
