It's basically Talisman digital but with a slightly nicer/bigger UI, and a good number of campaign chapters and challenges that take you through some pretty interesting stories in the Talisman universe. The stories are told in a basic way, with text and some basic art, but the way the story is integrated into the UI, the way it shows you the rules, different locations, and enemies is really good. Overall it's much better than playing Talisman digital by yourself, though there is probably less content in terms of expansions and special characters. If you only like playing Talisman with friends, you can skip this one, but if you like grinding away at Talisman by yourself, this game can provide hundreds of more hours of single player stuff to do on top of all you get with Talisman digital.

It's free HL1 + a ton of extras and significant multiplayer options with custom servers. There is no reason not to give this game a try if you like interesting multiplayer FPS; it's not big, should run on anything, and jumping into a server/map is super quick and simple.

Extremely simplistic gameplay, and clunky too. Not much content. Still, if you like charming and cartoonish platformers that simply serve as a time killer, give this a try. Otherwise I would recommend this game for children who are satisfied by the bare minimum of interactivity. For adults looking for something more involved, look elsewhere.

What a great little game. Approachable for casual players, challenging for min/maxers, and those looking for all achievements. An incredible value considering it's free; it took me about 15 hours to get every achievement and max out settlers in every map. It's not hard to progress through the game, in fact if you're trying to speed run it, it seems simply ballooning your population as quickly as possible is the way to go since all progression is based on population numbers. But if you're trying to go for a certain strategy or goal you will find yourself restarting the 4 levels multiple times which can get frustrating. If you are such a player here's a tip: the "results screen" is effectively the save point, so if run into a sudden bad result and want to avoid a population crash which will destroy an "optimal" run, alt+f4 at the results screen when you see your food production is significantly below your population needs, then continue the level when you restart the game. don't do it if you're only a little below, since knowing how to loose a few people without invoking the cemetery is necessary for an optimal run in the early game.

Some minor nitpicks just for completeness' sake: The game could be longer, with more levels and more challenges IE reach goals within a certain number of years, max population, only use perennials etc. then this would be a game worth charging for (if it isn't already). Also an options menu would be nice, especially volume control instead of some mute buttons scattered around. Oh and the newspaper articles are too few and get repetitive fast. But considering what it is, a free indie game made by a few people, it has more than it's share of charm, challenge, variety and polish. A great game and anyone who is into management, farming, or just interested in space should give it a try.
