The card variant system had me a bit confused at first and it took me a couple of runs to get the hang of the game in general, but after playing for a bit I found myself wanting to go for another try to see what new combo I could find, either by getting multiple equipment to synergize with my deck's strategy, or just by crafting a powerful card that would enable busted combos. Things like these give runs fun power spikes to look forward to each time you play.
It takes some getting used to, and it could use some polishing in some areas, but it leaves you wanting to go back for another run time and time again.
It's an easy recommendation for me!
