this is one of the most boring gaming experiences of the modern age.
i think it's funny "Realistic" is one of the top tags when it should say "Walking Simulator".

First raid:
Spawn in with whatever the game gave me.
Press 4 to open tablet, place marker on objective.
Walk in straight line to objective.

I've seen lots of praise towards the AI in this game.
I walked with a pistol to a group of bad guys, lean peeked around the corner and just head tapped each of them one by one.
I was shot twice. There is a medical injector to increase your overall HP, a bandage for bleeds, and painkillers. That's it. That's the entire healing system.

I arrive at the quest POI. It is a large square building that I cannot enter. Every door or window has a car conveniently placed in front of it.
My quest? Walk over to the highlighted objective, hold interact key, objective complete time for exfil.
Each POI in the map had a clump of like half a dozen enemy AI walking on it. Other than that, you're walking in a forest that has around 10 assets in total repeated over changing geology.

IDK what the post raid screen looks like. IDK if the AI becomes a challenge eventually. I alt+f4'd at exfil and uninstalled.

This game seems to primarily exist for one person:
A guy that thinks extraction shooters are cool, bought tarkov, got creampied by a degen, and now has sworn off PvP.
Without challenging PvP and high-risk high-reward circumstances extraction shooters are just Rainbow Six Vegas 2's Terrorist Hunt with extra steps.

I honestly wasn't even going to leave a review because I just thought "Oh I fell for it again. An early access title that needs much more time in the oven."
But this game has been out for 2 years. There are 3 levels. There is nothing unique about this game or the gameplay loop other than there are no other players.

MEDIOCRE.

Hard to explain in detail what makes this game great without giving spoilers. There was one puzzle sequence that was entirely too convoluted and took around 3 hours for me to figure out. Other than that, 10/10.

do you like to lick walls and use your TPP angle to magically watch a doorway you aren't exposed to while waiting to get the drop on the player that has looted the entire area around you while you sit completely motionless?
what about having access to a huge pool of loot but you only use 15% of it?
maybe you wanted an extraction shooter where the end-game mechanic is seal clubbing?
with the advent of A.I., maybe you thought a game would be better with A.I. voice acting?

IF YOU'RE GONNA FORCE ME INTO A TRIO WITH CONSOLE GAMERS EVERY GAME I THINK IT'S TIME WE HAD A SERIOUS DISCUSSION ABOUT THE MICROPHONE ETIQUETTE OF ANYONE ON XBOX OR PLAYSTATION.

DID YOU KNOW THEY HAVE A +60% AIMLOCK NATIVELY FOR CONTROLLER USERS? YEAH HISTORICALLY THAT'S GONE WELL FOR EVERY GAME THAT'S DONE THAT. YIKES.

ALSO, WHY DOES THIS CRASH REPEATEDLY ON MY PC THAT IS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN MY COMMUTE CAR? THE ONLY WAY TO GET IT TO BOOT IS TO RUN "INTEL EXTREME TUNING UTILITY" AND UNDERCLOCK THE POWER RATIO FOR MY CPU. AND IT STILL CRASHES.

AND ALSO, WERE THE EXTRA INVESTMENTS YOU GOT FROM INCLUDING BUZZWORDS LIKE "NFT" AND "BLOCKCHAIN IN-GAME CURRENCY" WORTH THE HALF-BAKED MARKETPLACE SYSTEM YOU ENDED UP WITH? AND BRO WHAT IS UP WITH THE ANNOUNCER?! HE CALLS YOU CUSS WORDS A 13 YEAR OLD BOY WOULD THINK OF EVERY 30 SECONDS. YOU CAN TELL ME THE CIRCLE IS CLOSING WITHOUT CALLING ME A ♥♥♥ GURGLED MEAT BUCKET ♥♥♥♥ WAD STINK SACK CLANKER NUTS PEE BRAIN. GAME GETS WAY BETTER WHEN YOU MUTE THE ANNOUNCER.

THIS GAME IS FUN (for 10 minutes then it crashes) AND IF THE DEVS PLAY THEIR CARDS CORRECTLY (add solo queues, disable forced crossplay, revamp postgame payout, etc.) COULD BE A GOOD LIVE-SERVICE BR FOR A FEW YEARS.
IT'S FUN DUDE. THERE'S SOMETHING HERE THEY'VE TAPPED INTO. IT JUST NEEDS SOME FINE TUNING.

YEAH THAT'S RIGHT I'M STILL NOT OVER THE CONSOLE GAMER THING. THEY GET THE LEAPER LEGS AND THEN JUMP UP AND DOWN AND AIMLOCK YOU. SOMEBODY FIX THIS I BUILT A PC 15 YEARS AGO BECAUSE I CAN'T STAND LISTENING TO DUDES HIT BLUNTS AND COUGH WHILE TODDLERS ATTACK VILLAGES WITH SPEARS WITHIN EARSHOT OF THEIR XBOX'S MICROPHONE. I'M GLAD THINGS WENT WELL AT WORK TODAY AND YOU GOTTA CALL JESSICA IN A LITTLE BIT BUT WHY ARE YOU OPEN MIC'ING THIS WHOLE PHONE CALL?! I JUST WANNA PLAY SOLOS MAN PLEASE DEVS.

I'm thinking a solid 6 out of 10 in it's current state. Give me some more content. I don't want to invalidate a game's fun-factor because my specific build struggles to run it; but optimization is always nice.
Also, another thing I wish they could fix that I'm not sure anyone can is HOW DAMN DISRESPECTFUL THESE CONSOLE PLAYERS ARE MAN YEAH I'M STILL ON THE CROSSPLAY THING. WORST PART IS, THEIR GAMES AREN'T CRASHING ON THEIR LITTLE $400 BOXES PLUGGED INTO THEIR 50HZ TELEVISIONS. HOW SWAY? HOW SWAY? HOW SWAY?

if this game came out in like 2015 it would've been good
