the VR skate equivalent (in terms of feel, clearly not a skating game) filling up a hole in the market that was miserably vast and empty. do yourself a favor and turn off the comfort mode and bask in the joys of whipping around midair and flicking the handlebars like a maniac. every trick and movement you make flows together smooth as butter and doesn't require a weird amount of precision to do something cool. additionally, this game comes with the added benefit of multiplayer, immediately turning this already impressively tactile and intuitive game also into a comedy to rival even the best of "Watch your friend bail out and Die" type games.


I do worry about lack of content, there's a limited amount of tricks and maps to do and only two real game-modes (a HORSE type trick-dittoing game mode and a 'score as many points in the time allotted' game mode) which means you could feasibly exhaust all this game has to offer within a few hours. it's difficult to create real lines on some of the maps, and as fun as just moving around is, I do wish for a little bit more meat on the bones of this game. still, the best way to help pad it out is to support the beautiful devs so pick up a copy and have some fun!!

an incremental game that respects your time!

I felt something playing this that I don't know how to articulate but will forever appreciate this game for

short and atmospheric VR "experience" with a few heavy depictions of certain real life events and many more stunning photogrammetry environments. only about an hour or so, but packed with a fair amount of content for what it is! especially liked some of the more evocative scenes, like the LIDAR-esque view of that one room. some rooms feel a little bit like filler, but were much needed reprieve from being bombarded with a bunch of historical events that honestly, i did not recognize at all. this game does rely on you knowing your history pretty well and even then you'll probably get thrown a curveball or twelve. very good!!!
