The game is good but wow what an absolute trash optimazation. I crash every other hunt. I tried turning every graphical setting to low, turning FSR and frame gen off, reducing my resolution, reinstalling my graphics drivers, etc. but still won't get a proper playable session. 70$ for this unoptimized garbage, what a joke.

I love and enjoy Bethesda's game formula and world building. I played the hell out of Skyrim and Fallout 4. However, you just can't translate that "Bethesda magic" into this game.

TL;DR: Game is boring. Characters are boring. Combat is boring. Quests are boring. Exploration is pointless. Shipbuilding is good. Overall: Boring and outdated

The good:

• Pretty game - I don't know how they did it, but they managed to make the game look very pretty while using an ancient engine.
  
• Ship building - The best part of the game. I wasted a lot of time and in-game money building what ever my mind comes up with.

The bad:

• Pointless exploration - Planets and moons are procedural and barren. Points of interest that are scattered on the planets and moons are just copy pasted with close to non changes. You will be exploring the same science outpost, mine, cave, factory, etc. multiple times. It just breaks the immersion.
  
• Too many loading screens and menu scrolling just to do the most basic stuff.
  
• Combat is still terrible and somehow feels worse than fallout 4
  
• Bad writing and quest design - The main quest line is meh. Most side quest are just fetch quest.
  
• Forgettable cast of characters - All of the characters are boring and hollow. They all look and sound generic. There are only 4 main companions and they all somehow feel the same.
  
• No map - Seriously?

The culmination of everything FromSoft has developed and learned this past decade. What a masterpiece.

The game is very enjoyable on it's first few hours. After that, everything gets very repetitive and tedious. Combat is very shallow. Exploration and world building is mediocre. The world looks gorgeous, but is very dull in terms of things that you can do. Most of the ruins that you will explore are just copy pasted version of other ruins with very minimal changes. Finally, the narrator is very annoying. The devs just abandoned this game after fixing some issues.

One of the best games you can play to date. No micro transactions, no season pass, no online only, you play the way you want to play. Create a very intricate factory or explore the world, you can do whatever you want whenever you want and the game does not punish you for it. 10/10
