Before the first patch, I played a good amount, (50+h as of writing) living the zone life.
Here is my thougths so far:

- Had a few CTDs, but realoading worked fine
- Mutants are bullet sponges (you can spend literal kilograms of ammo on some)
- Gunplay is really good
- Gun looks are REALLY good
- New anomalies? Like them a lot!
- 3D assets, map, looks - all also nice
- NPC faces are.... also there. A bit creepy smiles sometimes, but eh, this is not a dating sim.
- Story bugs happened, waiting for patch with progression, otherwise worked mostly
- Feels like the zone, they changed a lot in the layout, but it works for me.

- Tl:Dr It's like actually 98% finished. Some bugs here and there, some feedback based balancing (I hope) and then it should be all there. You can absolutely play it and have fun already though. Just avoid most mutants and just run.

Not much to say without spoilers. It's literally a mix of Fallout 4 and No Man's Sky. Whoever thought, NMS needed more story or that Fallout would be perfect with Spacefights, should like this.

I did encounter bugs, obviously, but not as many as in Fallout 4. All in all, great fun. 9/10

Works surprisingly well on a radeon 570 GPU. Didn't have any gamebreaking bugs yet, but there are things that'll need some updates, like enemies doing the T-pose randomly. But it's actually not bad in any way.

The visuals, even on my mid/low settings are stunning, the Gunplay is briilliant and the Story... dayum.

Not sure if modding cars will be possible later on, if not, that's one thing i'd sure wish for. also, the driving physics needs some tweaking. Steering input is way too slow, for example. That, for me, is the biggest thing about driving so far.

So, to sum it up. Even in this very early state, the game is a solid 9/10 expirience for me.

Edit: Patch 1.2 is out and the Game does run smoother. Way less stuttering, more FPS, and so on... Car physics have been tinkered with... it's better, not perfect but better.

So, no, it's still not perfect, but the patch really put this game in a spot where it should have been released in.

Early Access Review
After playing this a ton in earlier verions, I picked it back up after almost a year... I aimed for a zero dent run and was doing okay. No visible dent on the car, nothing. Engine built and parts all at home.

Then the house started burning and this save was ruined, which would be okay if it wouldn't take hours to get to that point again.

This mechanic just ruins the game for me. Yes, it's one of those sort of realistic simulators, but come on, gamebreaking events outside of perma-death mode? No access to the Van and Truck unless you get uncle to appear randomly? No starting wheels at home? Sorry, no.

After so long, the given updates really did not improve my expierience. It's just not fun anymore. Grind in games can be good but not like this.
