hey mate, i don't know if you have it or not, but i found the most kick are shield of all time in skyrim - called spell breaker - it creates a ward that protects you from all magical attacks, up to 50 points of damage. When you comeplete the quest for peryite you get it as the reward.http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Spellbreaker_(Skyrim) link there spells out the basics.
