A work that can be easily described as "perfection". simple, intriguing, fun. The is as simple, and as charming, as it needs to be, with no excess.

While the game is charming in art style and in some ways manages to cleverly simplify the auto battler formula, it simplifies too much. Full games feel very short, making bad rolls take over a larger part of each game. As a result, you have little time to enjoy whatever team you put together before its gone and you start again.
The asynchronous multiplayer also incentivizes repeatedly re-rolling the first round picks until you find the S-Tier opening, making you choose between tediously starting and abandoning games or facing better teams against those who have.
The game structure also makes it feel much harder to win, and much less rewarding to do anything but win, than it is to lose. It takes 10 victories to win, but even after the update closer to 4-5 to lose. And unlike regular auto-battlers, there's no equivalent 2-7th place to feel like you got something out of it.
The overall feeling is like a mobile game that trying more to get you addicted to almost winning, and then paying for an upgrade to win, than it is a game meant to be fun. Too quick to feel enjoyable and too random to feel interactive.

One of my favorite puzzle games of all time. It manages to evoke a sense of dreamlike play throughout the game, using the engine to its peak not to create the most realistic faces or shimmering landscapes, but the best surreal, magical world I have had the joy of partaking in.

Real great deckbuilder. Top Quality design, and mods allow incredible expansions

Whiler having a very nice artsyle and music theme, most of the game "challange" is just stuggling with its rather confusing control scheme. It's the equivalent to making a puzzle platformer where you can only walk backwards. Beautiful, but not particularly fun.

Asteroids: The Game.

Explore for twenty minutes: See nothing because you're going at zero miles an hour.

Go at any speed besides "♥♥♥♥ all": Die because you can see all of three feet around yourself and can't see the asteroids coming in at 500 mph. Get hit by an asteroid. Lose half your health. Hit a thing that bounces you like a ping-pong ball. Lose control, hit another asteroid, die. Repeat.

Be very careful, get to cool thing: Gain a tiny amount of resources because there's a cap on resources, get hit by an asteroid in the gravity field, die.

I need a none asteroid mode to make this otherwise chill game not conniption-inducing.
