Edit: Sony reversed their decision but who knows if they'll try to still implement it in the future.

Linking to another account may be easy for me, but for others where their countries don't even have access to PSN is just...

Why is this a thing? There is no reason to have to sign in to one account (in this example, Steam) and then again have to log in to another account. for what? so Sony can get their databases breached again and tons of data just leaked all over the internet while Sony goes "Oops, btw, this is all out there, my bad"

Nope, not today. Not ever.

I was skeptical to say that AGS would do a good job of being the publisher for the game.

Though it did have it's hiccups, it was overall an enjoyable launch experience. I do feel for those in the EU about their server issues, but I cannot speak for them. I enjoyed the launch and heavily recommend this game.

It's F2P, got lots of stuff to do. Things from the cash shop can be bought with in game currency that you can earn. So nothing is out of reach for F2Players.

The questing and story line is great. Though quests can become tedious and you can't skip certain cutscenese through your first playthrough. But enjoy it. There are some pretty epic scenes.

The graphics look great and the sound is fantastic. There's little details that are added. For example, when sailing and going through a section that has rain, your screen actually looks like it's got splattered with rain drops.

The party gameplay is lacking though. More often than not, the levels 1-50 will be played solo. Regardless of wether you're in a party or not, if you move to another map, the game does not keep you in the same channel. So you have to again go through another loading screen if you want to play with your friend.

End game activities are plentiful though. From chaos dungeons, island hopping, and raids, I don't know how I can fit all that in a single session and not get overwhelmed.

I am thoroughly enjoying my time and I suggest people to try this game out.

I have loved this series since I first played it on the Wii with Monster Hunter Tri. Following it to the Vita and the 3ds and onto the PS4 with World. I was so excited when the PC version came out.

Except now I'm just not having any fun. The server errors and the constant driver crashes, to the poor implementation of keyboard and mouse controls, this port has left an awful taste in my mouth. I keep trying to love it and when it works, I do. But a person can only take so many crashes and disconnects before you just gotta say; it's not worth it.

This is a game that doesn't hold your hand at all. I first played the first Dark Souls and thought it was incredibly hard right from the beginning...but that's because I had been going the wrong way first. So if you like bashing your head against the wall from the shear frustration of trying to get to the boss and dying either to enemies along the way or other players who invade your world, then this is right up your alley.
