My playtime is a small fraction of my total playtime outside steam. This game has everything as a survival sim, and in my opinion the tech and difficulty make the game interesting. Better reviews detail game mechanics. The only real deficit is the need to micromanage some tasks. At first you don't mind but it becomes tedious over time. Thankfully there are quality of life mods that make things such as cleaning and hauling more efficient. Even more thankfully, the steam community compiles collections of mods which you can 1 click install the ones you want. This has totally renewed my interest in the game, and I've been playing occasionally for 6 years through development.
