I was skeptical before I got it, but the concept for this game WORKS SO DAMN WELL. Amazingly fun, I just wish it had online multiplayer.

THIS GAME IS AMAZING. It's fast, it's gory, it doesn't hold your hand or babysit you, and again: it's FAST. There's no health or shield regeneration. There's no squad to back you up. You can't stealth your way through this game. It has platforming elements, point pickups, and it keeps track of the time as a reminder that you aren't taking a stroll. Except for the secret areas, which are totally worth going out of your way for. If you liked 1990s shooters, you're going to want to play this.
