"I love it when the bandits cry for the gun boxes to unlock while I beat them up one by one. Wait, does that make me a maniac?"

A prequel to the Arkham Trilogy, when Batman was still a rumor and the criminals were learning to fear the bat.

The gameplay is okay, pretty much similar to the previous game, but the Riddler's puzzles get easier than before. I don't know whether it's a good thing. Okay, maybe thinking chronologically, lore-wise, Riddler was just getting started and his puzzles may not be as hard, but they could have been the same difficulty level than Arkham City's, at least. I remember I was having a hard time figuring out Riddler's puzzles in Arkham City, but it was fun nonetheless, puzzles are meant to be thought about. The Riddler's puzzles in Origins are quite repetitive, like a simple wall explosion or batarang spamming. Now that I think about it, they're more suited to be simple collectibles, not much of a puzzle.

But, story-wise, the game is compelling. The lore is intriguing and fun to learn. It tells us the story of Gotham City, including its buildings, people, government, and criminals.

A short visual novel about a boy that has his video game character transferred into the real world. There are two heroines to romance: the dark elf game character and the protagonist's childhood friend, and both has their good and bad endings, decided based on the choices you make along the way.

It's short, has a relaxing music and atmosphere, and heartwarming.

A fresh story of Batman. You don't need to be a Batman geek to enjoy the game. It welcomes new fans who never knows about any of the bat's story, but still appeals to old fans too by giving a brand new version of Batman. I still recommend the comic books, though. They're amazing.

The story begins with Bruce/Batman in his early days of serving Gotham. While the Batman indulges himself with night activities of beating up petty criminals, sabotaging burglaries, stopping robberies, Bruce makes new connections and allies throughout the city. When things look like going smoothly, new troubles and challenges come to surface. Introducing both new game-original villain and old familiar lunatics with new "circumstances", including but not limited to the Catwoman, the Penguin, and the legend none other than the Joker.

Like any other Telltale games, it focuses on the story and player's decisions made in-game, with point-and-click elements and occasional quick-time events. The graphics are great and the music is enjoyable.
The game is highly replayable because of all the different choices that lead to many results, good for those who likes to experiment.

As you can see, this game is free. Back then when I got this game, I had to pay, but I don't regret it one bit. This novel is a masterpiece. This is a horror sound-visual novel with anime characters art. The contrast between the the horror theme and the cute anime sprites makes it more unsettling, which is good.

It's called sound novel because the sound elements (sound effects, background music, etc.) play important role in creating the horror atmosphere. Make sure to turn the volume up or wear earphone for better experience. I had experienced multiple goosebumps in a single scene. That's how scary the game is. The music in this Steam version is an updated version. There is this music set you can download and mod called the "MangaGamer BGM set", which is apparently the original sounds set. I've never tried the MangaGamer version but I'm satisfied enough with the steam version.

The characters are cute and have interesting personalities. Since this is the first chapter from the currently eight chapters available, the main focus is the introduction of the characters. There are two default character art style available to choose, the old original style and the new updated style, with each their own charm. I wish there is a button to change between the two art style in-game, without going to the options menu, so that I can switch between the two in an instant, because I really love both of them. There are more art styles available to download and mod, if you want to add more art style to the game if you like.

This visual novel is so great that there are already anime adaptations out there. Even now the anime is being remade is on it's way to release. Though I suggest to read these visual novels first before watching the anime, since the visual novels give an in-depth introduction and settings.

A cute anime dating sim with 5 cute magical girls... combined with... psychological horror.

Not for the faint of heart.
And absolutely not for children.

This is probably the most artistic short RPG I've played. I'm a perv and I play the game because of... you know... those 'melons'. I bought it using a coupon I got from crafting my nekonin game badge.

So, this is a short RPG about some characters with different personalities and backgrounds trapped out of nowhere in a mysterious dungeon. The choice you make along the game will decide which may live and die. For those who just want to enjoy the story, there's the casual mode. If you seek more challenging adventure, you can choose between three levels of difficulties.

So far I've only played the female characters without any male, except the one from the starting party, and I got rid of him immediately, accidentally actually, and by then I decided to try an all female party for the rest of the game. Why? Because I love anime girls, especially ones with big... personalities. LOL
Though maybe I'll try any of the male characters in the future when I feel like it.

The story looks like an average trapped-and-strapped scenario, but man that twisted ending is just so fitting for us men of culture. You know what I'm saying, guys.

The character presentation is pretty good. Each character's conversation is interesting, and we can learn a thing or two about each character's personality and background from them.

The in-game art is beautiful, especially the characters' sprites. From what I see, the monsters sprites are also creatively made. The background music composition is pretty good and atmospheric.

The gameplay is pretty challenging, with various types of skills and spells from different characters, you can combine them and create a beautiful strategy to defeat various monsters.

Overall, I highly recommend the game to any of you, especially those who love... 'melons'.

This game is fun, even if I'm bad at it. lol

The avatar design is beautiful. Hmm, now that I think about it, I started playing this game to see the cute girls, and it's not so bad.

If you buy this steam version you'll get a cool butler outfit, and diamonds you can use to buy one or two other outfits for your characters.

Some says that this game is a ripoff of PUBG. If it's true, that's too bad. Still, I bought this game because it's cheaper and the review is better than PUBG.

I was hoping to use that Beretta pistol shown in one of the two preview videos, and I'm a bit disappointed because the gun is not in the game.

I was so interested in this visual novel the first time ebihime shared the idea in twitter. I've been waiting for quite a while for the release. I managed to save up some cash to buy this on the first day of its release and I regret nothing.

As expected from ebihime, the writing of the story is beautiful as always. At a glance, it looks like another otaku-like story where the grandmother turn into a cute teenage girl and the main character romance with her but actually it's deeper than that. It's a story about life, about love, about humanity that seems lost these days.

I can relate to the story well. This story makes me realize that I've been so terrible at treating my grandmother.

The music and visual effects are amazing. There's something new compared to ebihime's previous titles which bring the atmosphere to life.

The artwork is stunningly amazing too. The CGs are beautiful and the sprites are cute and lovable.

There are few writing errors but they're mostly small typos and word duplicates, highly ignorable compared to the other great aspects.

It's indeed another masterpiece from ebihime and I highly recommend this visual novel to all of you lonely otakus. It will make you love your grandmothers more and value your time with them.
