This is one of my favorites in the rogue-like genre. Imagine a modern day Galaga bullet hell but on steroids...

The variety of builds and upgrades makes every run enjoyable and engaging.

Looking forward to further updates that bring even more content to this awesome game!

Great game!
Now before reading this, I do want to say that you should try it out if you are on the fence because this game is well worth the $5 price tag. I really wish they had a 4-pack that way it can easily be sent to friends for a good laugh.

It's a hilarious time with friends and once everyone gets a grasp on the game, it gets quite competitive.
I love the workshop maps and map editor. As finicky as you need to be to make quality maps, it does the job and makes the really detailed maps stand out.

Here's the problem.
When random people join your open lobby of workshop maps in queue, generally they just lag out and have to wait for the next map where the exact same thing happens again. The in-game download system is poor. It works when it wants to and causes the joining player to sit out for the entire map cycle basically. Once we start getting duplicates, there is a chance it might work if the game decided to download it. It should just wait for everyone to download. I would not mind having to wait for a player to join before continuing or just drop them in AFTER they download it fully. Also, why are the published workshop maps privated immediately? Why not give an option in-game after making the map? I shouldn't have to go to my workshop within steam just to publicize the map so that I can play it with friends.

The game could use new game modes. I know I'm asking for a lot here. How about a ranked mode? Maybe a 2v2? A queue with more than 4 people for larger groups? You get the point, I just want to see the game thrive because it really is a quality game.

If you like Rocket League and/or Harry Potter's quidditch, you will love this game. Of course there are plenty of visual tweaks that could be made, but it is in early access after all.
I have 2300+ hours in rocket league and the transition was great! Took me awhile to get used to the controls but I quickly fell right into rotation and was pulling off passes and shots before I knew it.
The skill ceiling isn't quite like rocket league, but there are a lot of things you can do to outplay your opponents. One example would be throwing the ball towards the ground and teleporting to it to juke out the defense.

It's worth the price and worth your time.

Great start to what could be an amazing skating game. The controls take some time to get used to, but I found it satisfying learning tricks that I could pull off with muscle memory. Can't wait to see the direction this game goes!

A few things I would like to see (I know some of these might already be planned)
-Animation for hopping on your board
-Instead of ragdoll when you fall from a curb or something smaller, I think it would be better for your character to tumble into a fall (except when you hit a wall or other large obstacle obviously)
-Multiplayer (I know this is coming eventually, but I wanted to mention it because it should be a priority)
-Display the name of the trick you land on screen
-Maybe a points system or an entire game mode based around competing with friends for scoring points within a time limit
-Skate gamemode (Basically H.O.R.S.E)
-More customizations to your character/board
