Feels like Age of Empires II with a complete make over. That is a very good thing!

The worst game I have ever seen for the price asked. I would not have payed for this game even if it was free.

Considering this title is completely free, there's very little to complain about. It's simply good co-op survival fun to play with three friends. It supports up to 8 players, but I wouldn't recommend it, because the balance breaks down and the level-design is clearly not designed for it. 3-5 players I can see would work fairly well.

A great continuation. Adds complexity to the formula. Be sure to play Spelunky HD before this one. It is blatantly designed for fans of the first one. However the co-op gameplay is far superior to the first one on PC. At least without mods. If you love challenging platformers, you can't go wrong with Spelunky!

It's not for everyone. The addition of champions, unlike the classic quake games, causes disagreement among fans. However, there aren't many active games like this around these days (any at all?). So if you enjoy fast-paced action, and don't mind practicing in order to improve, give this game a chance! It's still Quake, and it's a tried and true formula and loved for a reason!

Most people that review this game, not counting the very real problem with bugs and server crashes, express what could be summarized as "this game isn't what I want it to be, therefore it's bad".

It takes some time to get into, especially if you're not coming from the older games in this genre. These days, things need to be intuitive immediately for it to grab an audience. Unfortunately this undermines the ability to have a really high skill ceiling.

It's not a perfect game, but I haven't had this much fun in a very long time.
Try this game out atleast. It's not for everyone, but you need to take your time with it to fully realize what's so captivating about it.

After having finally finished the final boss of the game after playing it for 140 hours I'm here to tell you this game is amazing. If you are a platform game veteran and craving a challenge; this is the game for you.

The game that lets you and three friends experience what it's like being in a cliché zombie surival horror movie. You're going to shout at each other, you're going to laugh, you are going to survive... maybe.
What's certain is that if you love co-op FPS gaming, I'd be surprised if you didn't have a lot of fun with this game. Don't leave your friends behind though.

Superb action RPG Space Opera! Really nails the feeling of exploring a wild galaxy.
