I would not advise purchasing this game now. there was an update today (feb 14 2026, Gameplay Update #1) that broke many things for a set of seemingly minor changes to the change log. looking back at the games update history its plagued with several days that have had 5-6 updates. there is seemingly little to no quality assurance before something hits steam. until this game hits a stable state I expect like its going to be broken often.

I was really looking forwards to being able to play this with my friend, we played the entire base game/downpour campaign using jolly co-op previously but support for that was disabled in an update. would not recommend if your playing the game in co-op.

A little bit of an achievement grind. was a good bit of fun, sadly this game does have some issues with the high res resarouces pack dlc which causes some crashing

Does not hold up to the legacy of the first game, Play the first game if you want the story. If you just want to run around this game does alright.
