Good grief Konami, if you're going to be this lazy with bomberman can you at least just port one of the good games for twenty bucks or something? I can't blame people in the slightest for not wanting to pick this up, for some reason they thought the rotating mode selection from splatoon would be a good idea when they don't even have a playerbase to fill the modes with. If what you want to play isn't up, too bad. Hated it in splatoon with salmon run and hate it here. Storymode is nothing special, if you haven't played bomberman before its okay to get yourself familiar with the controls and new mode but outside of that its just an empty world with blocks to blow up and an annoying at best bunch of cutscenes with these weird caricature bombers. Frankly would be better off with no "story" compared to this.

tl;dr fifty bucks to play bomberman online with ten other people tops potentially not even playing the modes you want to play is not worth it, just skip it. This series died with hudson soft and it's not coming back.

Starts good but the honeymoon ends quickly. It's awful, don't buy it, don't play it it's not worth it.
