Zero Caliber has done a great job in relation to gunplay in vr. Im not quite sure how theyve done it but shooting in this game feels very natural. Aiming long distances dosent feel shakey or impossible like other games. The attachment system works well and the sights are realilistic. Guns act as physical objects in the world. They have colision with everything, including other bullets. This can be a chore at first if you're used to vr games like Pavlov as youll find your gun slamming into corners quite often. But when you make a mental effort to realize that you're gun is a physical part of the world, the movements become natural and quite immersive. However, when you grab a magazine or an attachment the position of it in your hand is fixed. there is no grabbing a mag from the top or bottom or side, its just whatever the default position is. This may not seem like a big deal, and its really not, its just that the positions of some of these objects is awkward in your hand. Some mags feel like your pinching them from the bottom instead of palming it from the side and this can make reloading feel more unnatual then it should. In addition, grabbing items on the belt is very awkward. The sensitivity of what it thinks you want to grab is unreliable. These are my only gripes with the gun system. Overall, it seems like a large portion of the development for this game went into the gun mechanics and they did a great job, it just may take some adjustment if you're used to other vr shooters.

As for gameplay, its...okay. By VR standerds its actually great i give it that. Few vr shoots have any quality AI based levels. However the AI is very dated. The AI very much reminds me of older games like the classic Call of Duty's and even at times from even older games like Return to Castle Wolfenstien. Their movements are robotic and their animations have no fluidity. The game will not force you to play tactically whatsoever. If you have decent aim and experience with shooters you will be able to charge ahead of your AI team mates and clear the way with relative ease. I think where this game really has a chance to shine is in the PVP multiplayer. If they do it right it has potential to be a great tacticle inbetween of Onward and its community of mil-vets, and Pavlov with its CSGO mirror community. If they really want to push the tacticle co-op mission based mode then they'll need to overhaul the AI and get some more interactive elements other then just shooting bots.

A must have for VR. This is the game that trains you to really let go and give yourself to the VR world. Just dont destroy your home. I have the most hours on this VR Game by far and for good reason. I'm long past 100% completion but I'll never get tired of jumping into endless mode on Nightmare difficulty and surviving as long as I can. I've learned this game and the skill cap is suprisingly high. You can actually get pretty good at this game and boy is it satisfying when you do.

It's a very short game, ill start with that. What you think is the start of the game, might just be the end. HOWEVER, this is clearly because of the developers plans with the Eposidic style. You should consider this an intro. That being said, the 20$ price point is a little rough ONLY because of the length. Every other aspect of this game has me blown away and so exteremely excited for the future. The mechanics of this game really utilize VR controls and potential, something other games seem to struggle with sometimes. This game makes you throw, catch, move, investigate closely, and do things simple things that reinforce the immersion. At one point i was kneeling only the floor for over 20 minuets playing with a massive electrical board making fine adjustments, another point i was hanging a latern on a hook to look over some notes, and its awesome. I wont say anything but that because the wow factor of just the inventory tutorial is enough for me to not spoil it.
Also, i went in expecting little of the Voice Acting, but was plesently suprised. Humor is subtle and enjoyable, and the voices dont stick out as being particularly bad or unbelievable like some games (Sarentino VR).

Finally, This is by far the most immersed ive ever been in VR, and its the first time ive ever spent more then an hour in a single play session. Again, the issue comes with the price point. I'm not sure how many episodes are planned in this series, but if they are all priced as full games thats a little shady. By the time every episode is out id be happy to pay 60 for the full collection, but its likely to price in at more like 100+.
In conculsion, if your tight on cash buy it on sale. Nothing about the gameplay of this game is lack-luster and its how vr is ment to be played. Not these repetivive wave shooters. I look foward to experience the story in the next episode, and ill write another review there when im done that you can check out if your considering buying the episode bundle like I did. If you have any questions add me and message me, ill be completely honest about any game ive played.

Landfall never disapoints. Great soundtrack, hilarious and unique gameplay with a suprising amount of maps. Sure, you wont put many hours in before being done with the game. But its well worth 5$ to pick up with some friends and laugh your asses off as you get devoured by a hoard of snakes or shotgun yourself into oblivion. Every game by this company never fails to make its way into my heart as a unique and immensely entertaining title.

Nosgoth, such a unique game. Fantastic idea for a nice, small-scale, semi-competitive, game. The asymettrical teams work very well. Though at my skill level it seems to be more heavily vampire-sided. But its not quite a problem considering you play both sides throughout the course of the game. The classes are very unique and all have very important roles, which makes team work essential.

If you're playing this game alone, I still think you could get quite the experience. But you wouldnt go all that far before needing a team. But seeing as this game is free, there is no point in not trying it out. I've been here since 2014 and am just now getting back into it and I still love it. The developers are really advancing this game from its simple state I found it in and its awesome to see it grow with its small little community.

An extremely large expansion pack for this game was just announced, the size and content of this pack is on par with packs such as Blood and Wine. Many people are angry about this simply because of the "early access" title this game has, which many seem to think means "you're not allowed to work on anything but bug fixes". Which is not true, this game, as it, could be released. While it has some bugs, the game is for the most part completely functional. There is very few bugs that would ruin you're gameplay experience. You should be glad this game has chosen to maintain its early access title, otherwise they would stop doing their minor weekly updates, and all development would go toward expansions.

Now, onto my legitimate review. I've spent a good amount of time playing this game with my friends and its always a good time. The way the developers have shaped this game has given it a community that feels like...well, a community. Each server you play on you will make friends and enimies, PVP is based off legitimate quarels and not just for the sake of gear. Very rarely will you wander into the wildnerness and find a fight with another player. You've got to go looking for one. Which i enjoy. The content of this game is miles ahead of any other current survival game. This game is probably the most developed survival game next to minecraft.

Overall, Its modding community is massive, its community is nice, the content is A+, and the bugs aren't all that bad. So quit you're whining. With the points people are giving, you could call Minecraft and Early Access game too.
