I'll admit I have a much stronger PC than the average player so I haven't noticed any performance issues.

This game is one of those things that's greater than the some of its parts. The writing is terrible, the enemy variety is pretty low, travel can sometimes be tedious, but the game is incredibly charming and engaging.

I'm not a big fan of the misleading/incorrect info going around on the micro transactions. You don't need them and they aren't missed for not buying them.

I will say though, this game probably isn't for everyone, and that's a good thing. This is a game some people will love and others will hate, not one everyone will like.

The CA team probably could stand to have a better patching/update process for this game, but it's always shocking to me when people play a game for 500+ hours and then don't recommend it.

The game is not worse recently because of the pricing of new dlc. At most the game is worse today because of their patching schedule, and it's only so very slightly worse off for that.

It's a fun and highly detailed 4x game, and I've been playing TW since the original Shogun.
