Forza Horizon 6 has been really fun with friends in co-op so far! I'll let the other reviews speak to the game while I speak to the sim wheel/pedal users regarding compatibility really quick.

*Current as of 5/21/2026*
I'm using a Simagic Alpha Evo 12nm base with DS-8X shifter and TB-RS handbrake wired into the base canbus. I'm also using Simnet SP Pro pedals with clutch. I've been seeing posts all over saying this setup won't work with FH6 and I'm here to let you know that everything works great! I'll go over how I have FFB working with the wheel base and the pedals below. (Very simple btw and this should work with almost any sim gear as long as you only have 3 separate devices or less!) A wheel base with a shifter and handbrake plugged into it using CANBUS is considered 1 device as is my case. Think about it like the wheel base, shifter, and handbrake (or whatever other peripherals you have connected like P1000/2000 pedals or whatever) become 1 device when plugged into the wheel base. If you plug them into your PC via USB individually, each peripheral device will be treated separately and you don't want that for FH6!

First: Make sure your wheel is device 1 in windows. To do this just search windows for "set up USB game controllers" and make sure the wheel is the first "controller" listed (top of the list). If it isn't unplug whatever is listed above until the wheel is at the top. (Note: I've heard you have to restart your PC for this to take effect. I restarted but I'm not so sure you have to.)

Second: Open SimPro Manager and make sure you're using version 2 and not version 3 of the software (V2.1.8. is what I'm currently using). Since there is no profile for FH6 yet, just load the FH5 profile for the wheel base. You can do that by going to [Devices], make sure you select your wheel base at the bottom of that screen. Now look back at the top of the devices screen and you'll see your current profile. If there is nothing selected, or another game, just switch that preset to FH5. I selected "Reverse FFB" in the basic settings section where the FFB percentage is located (50% is what I use for FFB on the 12nm but you can adjust as you see fit).

Third: Open FH6 and navigate to the settings menu, then to controls, then select the "Wheel" option. You most likely won't have anything bound at this point. I would attempt to bind "Steering" and turn your wheel (you might need to turn quite a bit for it to register it) and make sure it shows as "Device 1: X axis" (I think it's X axis, I'm doing this by memory only lol)" If the wheel shows up as device 1, you should be good to continue binding everything else. You may want to try one of each device binding to make sure they are all recognized properly (pedals, shifter, handbrake, etc).

Fourth: After you get your bindings set to your liking, head into the game and test everything out in whatever car you feel like. Make sure your FFB is working as intended. If it feels very sensitive at neutral and less sensitive when turning, you may have to uncheck "Reverse FFB" in SimPro OR turn ON (or OFF) "Invert Force Feedback" in the Advanced Controls menu in FH6. The wheel should feel a bit easy to turn initially and then force feedback should make the wheel feel heavier as you are turning the wheel when you're at speed. (That's the best I can describe it anyway lol)

Fifth: Adjust any other settings like you would in other games. I personally set my steering angle locked at 540* so I can drive a bit easier without having to spin the wheel so much like I do when it's at 900*. That's the only thing I've changed so far and it feels really good. I may make slight tweaks over time as I see fit but this is a great starting point!

Sixth: Go forth and enjoy FH6!!

So many possibilities and so much fun! If you are the creative type, you'll love it. If you aren't the creative type, you'll love it. I spend most of my time building drag cars and tuning them.

I run BeamMP for multiplayer racing fun and even used VorpX to have fun in VR! I never thought I'd have so much fun!

I love that you can head off road and go mudding with friends. If you use a VR headset you can actually look out the window and get an idea of where your tires are for a more immersive experience. You can drag race, drift, circuit race, get into pursuits, chase bank robbers, the possibilities are endless especially if you like modding. I really can't recommend BeamNG.Drive enough!

Slow updates to the game can be an annoyance. I take long breaks from playing and when I return the devs have added a ton of new content and features. It seems like lately they've stepped up the development and are releasing new alpha's constantly. The big drawback is sometimes the server needs to be completely wiped but the added content usually makes up for that. Even with all the drawbacks, this game is still really fun and it's only in alpha 18. The full release (whenever that may happen) should be a blast!
