HRDINA is about a block figure stuck in this world, contemplating about his existence and trying to find a way to escape. The Hero will encounter various enemies, bosses and challenges in his way. Basically like Super Mario Land but more aesthetic, and the protagonist actually has dialogues that perk your curiosity; not just to save some damsel in a castle.

Pros:
Great soundtrack
Easy controls
Neat and unique environments that catch your eyes
Challenging at times, but rewarding

Cons:
Respawning after death -
You respawn into traps or empty space, only to fall into the void below sometimes
Keybindings -
The keybindings for attacking an enemy is ctrl or shift, and the jump key is space. This puts my left hand in an awkward position since I prefer to use arrow keys to move around instead of WASD. Would be great if you can configure your own keybindings.


There are various subtle touches to it, for example the Z's you see in the tutorial level is a reference to the band the game borrows its music from. It also has a bonus section where you can enjoy the tracks you have unlocked from the band, with a nice little interactive lyrics book. (Not that I can read Czech)

HRDINA has the potential to be a paid game and I would continuously play it.
