Absolutely excellent. Quality is top-notch in just about all aspects. One moment that threw me was that there is a puzzle that requires you to respawn a cube by dunking it in the water/goo - I wasn't aware this respawns the cube. Other than that hitch and a handful of out-of-bounds cheeses that you're only gonna try if you're insane anyway, superb. Great voice acting, Cave's voice was very close to the original. Also, loved the helper fellow - when he explains his reasoning for his actions, it all makes so much sense, and I love how he heads off player speculation when you find him.
Excellent excellent excellent. If you liked Portal 2, this is DEFINITELY worth playing.

Hilarious, solid gameplay, all in all the quality is more on par for what I'd expect to cost 5 or 10 dollars. It's completely free instead.

Also, the grassland music (Ragazza Plains in the OST) in particular is fantastic and I kinda wanna go take a dance break now.

Early Access Review
Subnautica's development is moving along at a solid pace. Looks great, fun to play, definitely worth getting if it happens to be on sale. Only real issue I'm running into is that the draw distance for major landforms is way too low; you can't even tell there's a mountain island until you get ridiculously close to it.

As other reviews mention, the art style isn't quite compatible with the RTP.
However, unlike almost all the other resource packs on here (perhaps even all of them?), this pack includes the original high-res artwork for its Faces and Battlers, allowing advanced users to modify them as they please.
If your game is set for this sort of theme, or if you're a great-editor-but-crappy-creator, this is probably pretty good for you.

It's OKAY. Not great, but okay. Hear me out.
Now, there's not much in here. A4 (with only seven pieces), A5 (with a lot of blank spots), C, and D are included.
There's some serious style clash that goes on even internally. Some of the objects have single-color outlines. Some of them have more default-RTP-style outlines. Some are pretty lacking on the outlines front. There's some sort of glass containment system thingy (?) that appears to resemble the pillars, but the base doesn't look properly angled; it seems to be tilted back, almost.
Now, there are some pretty decent blood decal tiles in here. There are also some mediocre ones. Once again, there's some nasty style-clashing that goes on.
My advice? If you really want it (the blood letters are okay, but you're probably better off making your own if you're capable of working an image editor), buy it when it's on sale. There just isn't much here that's really usable together in my opinion.

I JUST GLITCHED IN LEVEL 4-1
I'M IN A PERMANENT LOW-GRAVITY EFFECT WITHOUT BEING IN A LOW-GRAVITY CUBE ZONE
I CAN GO ALMOST ANYWHERE NOW
THIS FEELING OF FREEDOM
Ahem. In all seriousness, while I've only gotten to level 4-1, I must say I'm really quite impressed with the atmosphere. One level in particular stood out for me: 2-3, Monolith. The fog combined with the music gave me chills the entire time.
I should note, though, that the level design hasn't been playtested thoroughly. So far in every level except 2-3 (and to some extent 3-6) I have managed to somehow get myself outside the area that the player is intended to play within, all using only the mechanics provided to me. Backtracking once I have more cubes often allows me to climb out the top of the "expressive" area that I am meant to play in, and out into the areas with flat, featureless exteriors. On 2-2, you can even see pieces of models sticking up out of the roof you're standing on, icicles and snow hanging in midair because the rest of it is being used as interior decoration. That said, this is still a really good game, possibly BECAUSE it gives you the freedom to do such things.
In short, I love this game despite its quirks, because those quirks just expand what the player can accomplish.
