Dont listen to the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ above...I lost my hearing suddenly one night years after I got out...it all adds up...now its sign language deaf after 8 years artillery M110A2 8 Inch X 46000 Rounds plus! Yea I could sleep in the ammo carrier next to the gun....yes we had hearing protection but was hard to use because the overpressure many times drove it so deep in our ears we had to get the medics remove them with tweezers. Deaf Vet here now and it's horrible!
