Played a few hours now and really enjoy the simplicity of the game and the nostalgia it has.

Highlights:
Music - Very unique, kind of reminds me of Cowbow Bepop. Not the same, but reminds me of it.
Story - I am enjoying the story so far. Simple, with some surprises and so far keeping it entertaining.
Dialogue - Others have mentioned cliche dialogue which is an unfair review. This was the intent, and it works. Of course it's cliche, but a couple of times I have chuckled. If you are expecting serious writing, move on. If you go watch a Godzilla movie, and you are mad giant monsters are in the movie, then that is on you!
Ship Combat - It's simple pew pew, yet still fun to upgrade your ship and blow stuff up. I like complicated simulations, but sometimes I just want to pew pew.

Lowlights
- None yet really. I wasn't expecting much from the game and it sort of hooked me, which I found surprising. Will update if I think of any.

Game is a blast still. Desync can still be in issue in hotspots where everyone jumps.

Battlepash did kind of tick me off for a paid game. I paid 30 bucks for a game, but now you can pay 20 plus 10 for the battlepass. Yet bluehole screws all previous players and asks for 10 dollars more.

So, screw them and the battlepass. But still like the game. Just won't give them anymore when they should have given full paying players the battlepass for free, at least at first.

Redshell has been removed as of the 1.4.4 patch! Hopefully all these developers don't replace it with something just as bad!

Anyway, great game and deserves a thumbs up after doing the right thing!

OLD NEWS BELOW. FIXED AS OF 1.4.4 Patch.

Tracking via Redshell. Don't doubt that there are more companies using different types of SDKs. But since I know about this one I will give it thumbs down till the fix it.

Stop being creepy!

HBK314 is wrong.

Redshell is able to track credit cards. They even state they are able to verify fraudulent card use by verifying how many times a card is used under different accounts. Last I saw, credit cards carry a lot of identifying information on them.

They also know what computer a, b or c did. Many people maintain the same IP address for months, even when an ISP dynamically assigns them. Redshell also makes no mention HOW they identify said computer.

We all have our phone numbers and addresses available via the yellow pages. Never had a problem that. When companies start trying to track my habits, it becomes creepy.

If you are unable to see that, then there is no help for you.

Simple hack/slash that is fun. Side Missions are repetitive, story not really keeping me interested, but combat is somewhat entertaining.

Amazing tactical depth, especially on hardest levels. You will die, but learn from it and plan better next time. Haven't passed first act so not sure how the difficulty scales on later levels.

If you play on hardest level it does make it difficult to not min max your characters to survive. If you want to role play stats more, choose normal difficulty so you don't get destroyed. I prefer tactical challenges so min max anyways.

Updated: Fixed some tactics that could easily be abused to make more challenging. Reuslted in some heavy nerfs for Rouge character builds.

More to come but first and foremost.

For a single player game you MUST HAVE PAUSE! Why the devs continually refuse to add a pause function in the game is maddening.

With a little invested time it is easy to learn the combos but a tough game to master. Very rewarding when you start to win even if only occassionally. Awesome game.
