Without a singular doubt in my mind, I adore story driven games where each piece of the tale is revealed as you play more than anything else. Clair Obscur took my breath away like no game or piece of media ever has before, and still brings me back to relive the story and dive deeper into each character and each slither of information that has been presented.

The game play of learning to parry and refusing to give up, and the elements of building each character to suit how strong I wanted them to be is incredible. I've never been so stubborn on running into an enemy I should not be fighting until it laid dead before me.

This game is beautiful and beyond worth every second spent in it. The story and the topics covered in it were portrayed in such a devastatingly beautiful way that will forever be in the shadow of every action that I make in my future, and I would not have it any other way.

controls clunky. animation clunky. made me start crying out of frustration. games feels incomplete while they shove dialogue down your throat.

highly recommend playing with a friend that will jumpscare you with their presence more than the game will

i've dragged four friends into this game now and i'm not stopping until we're all crying because of zombies
