What a fantastic remake!!!

The Positives: I remember playing the original way back in the day, and I believe it was also the first 18+ visual novel I ever played! Sleepover: reWake takes that nostalgic foundation and elevates it to an amazing new height!

The remastered CGs are great, and the reworked story had me genuinely invested in both Aki and Kano! I played my first run completely without help from the guide, and was totally hooked. Then I dove into a second run, with help from the guide to get the perfect ending, and it still had me glued!

I'm also pleasantly surprised by how diverse and varied the sex scenes are, even more so than the original. Giving us the option to have Kano take the lead and top during that first night was a very nice step up!

And finally, the VOICE ACTING. I cannot praise the new voice acting enough. It gives both characters way more emotional texture. Aki's more lowkey, cool and subtle vibe combined with Kano's energetic and vibrant tone make their chemistry feel so real! To both Ryans, y'all did a fantastic job voicing Kano and Aki. <3

The (very few) Gripes: I only have two main things to talk about here:
1. I wish the story was expanded on more/a bit longer! One to make the price feel a bit more fitting, but also because I was genuinely so interested in Kano and Aki's dynamic that I wish the game was longer! It just felt a bit too short.

2. This is PURELY my subjective opinion, but a couple of the CG's, though obviously recolored and shaded, still feel a bit too close to the base game and dated, and I feel that those few would have been better being redrawn/relined entirely. But again, that's just my personal opinion.

Overall though, I loved playing this game! Huge thanks to the Blits team for giving this classic the love and care it deserves! <3 <3

From the bottom of my heart, absolutely one of the most beautiful games that I had the pleasure of playing. The story kept me super engaged with all the characters, the music, and especially the vocal performances, were spectacular, and the art is gorgeous.
And to boot, it made me cry like no other game ever has before. Easily sit atop my list of "Best Games Ever Played". I cannot recommend this game enough.
