Pointless and shallow. Developing the production chains isn't enough to hold up the game on its own, since they're pretty simple, and there is no element of housing or satisfying citizens, or anything else, to make the game feel well-rounded and fun.

The previous King's Bounty games were much better. This one is plagued by bizarre design choices and shallow mechanics.

AC1 vet here, haven't played an AC game in years.

Good God, does this bring me back. The momentum feels like the original AC, but with controls that aren't PS1 era jank. Story and VA are just okay, but burning through a base of enemy MTs with guns blazing and missiles in the air feels as great as it always did.

Short but well done. Dark atmosphere and storytelling that mixes cynicism and optimism. Good for about 3 playthroughs.

Great idea, mediocre execution. The 'evil' in the events feels shallow and criminally underused, while the main game is just a subpar deckbuilder.

The game has an interesting style and period, but ultimately falls flat as just another generic crime tactics game.

Classic. Fixed some problems with the PSP release. Some additions, like the blue cards on the battlefield, are a little odd, but nothing that detracts significantly from the core game and story. Definite recommend.
