it started around the latter part of last year around october november i started receiving various messages and comments asking me if i was barry stanton and messages saying brexit means brexit and do you fancy a carling etc and then about 4 weeks ago it started to escalate and i realised it was brought to my notice that a journalist from the new statesman had last october published a story she'd tried to contact me and at the time because i wasn't taking the situation seriously i didn't get back to her she wrote the article in which she didn't use my name but she identified who i was gentlemen from worcestershire retired labour supporter etc this came to my attention about 4 weeks ago and then i started to get a lot more abuse and a lot more messages then i contacted the police cause my family were worried about it and they were upset they were getting messages as well they would doctor my photograph they did a photograph of my face attached to a body on a mobility scooter
