Buy it. Stop reading and just buy it.

Masterpiece. Super dense game that requires patience. Starts slow. As you buy camp improvements stuff like limited fast travel open up. It all takes time, and rightfully so. Doot around. Take your time and hunt and explore in a big expanding circle around wherever your camp is and poke around. Don't skip random encounters, do white quests, wander around. There's a lot of world building vignettes like abandoned cabins and what not that tell little stories that are just there to make the world seem more lived in. Every single inch of this game is beautiful. Even the fishing mechanic, which universally I just loathe in other games, I love in this game. Just one of the absolute best video games I've ever played.

One of the most unique, replayable, story rich RPG's I've ever played. Everyone should give Disco a whirl. Some of the funniest, most touching, sad, disturbing, screwed up, mind expanding scenes I've ever experienced in a game. Unlike anything else I've ever played. Top five games of all time, honestly. I'll replay this one several more times at the very least, there's just so many things that effect the story in fun ways, especially failed skill checks. Go extreme with your initial build, max out one of the categories. You'll be glad you did.

Incredible fun.

It's like the leap from Civ 4 to Civ 5, if that makes sense. Wonderfully deep yet accessible game. Whiffs of other Paradox titles (like Stellaris) but stands apart as its own experience. Seemingly endless replay value. Highly recommend.

Wish I'd connected with this game sooner. Damn good MMOFPS. If you're a new player intimidated by the sheer amount of DLC and stuff, don't be.
