Jackfrags video summarize it all : This game desperately needs a wake up call

- AI Slop
- Real BF content and gameplay loop
- Stop the COD-ification (by trying to be something else, you lose both teams)
- Etc

It's a good little puzzle game made by a solo dev.

I will be forgiving for some problems because of this, for exemple, the lack of a reset puzzle button (if you are stuck, you must save and quit the game then launch it again to continue), or some puzzles who were really not intuitive, forcing me I admit, to look the solutions.

But overall, it's a good experience with good ideas, properly executed, and with some nice musics in the background.

I recommend to buy this game full price (~5€ for 5 hours to 100%), to reward the work accomplished, and because it was nice to play it.

It's a ~ok game but it could be improved tremendously, the basic idea of Souls like for a broader public with some cool power had appealed me at the beginning, but it's janky and not properly executed.

- The graphism are good, the nature is beautiful.
- The gameplay ideas are good too, it's a TPS with melee combat and some cool power with the rot.

But :
- The artistic direction is not for me, the over cuteness of the plushies is so annoying, I understand, you wanted it to be cute, but it's too much, it's forced. It's worse because you have unskippable cutscenes every time you discover one (~50~60 times for someone who explore the map a bit).
- The gameplay feel janky and slow, you are stuck with the animations while you were trying to achieve something, either it's combat or plateforming.
- The game is very easy, but the bosses are sometimes very hard, it's not balanced.
- I've had trouble activating the lock on the ennemis, I don't know why, I played the game without 95% of the time.
- The bosses has some weird animations, it's not clear when they will attack of not, the comparaison with a Souls is not helping. For exemple one was throwing a big rock. The timing to evade it was very very curious, if you don't roll with the right timing, the rock will follow you like a missile and hit you nonetheless.
- The last boss is a big mess with multiple phase, with plateforming, and when you die, go to the beginning again.
- Speaking of which, it was so frustrating to have the chekpoint just BEFORE the cinematics. I've seen it once, I don't want to skip it the next 10 times because I died after it. And every time you will die, it's because of a special event or boss, so you will always have the replay of the cinematic of this event.
- During plateforming, Kena slide on the walls, because only some part of some specific rocks, covered with white paint, are grabbable. It's not very modern to slide like that, and when you want to go on top of a rock, it would be nice to have Kena grabbing the top of the rock, instead of being forced to go around, where the devs has put a slope for us to walk. You wanted some plateforming like Uncharted, go for it, don't stop halfway.

This game is ~meh.
It's hard to give a Yes/No review because it's a mid tier game, maybe a 12/20 game.
I overall liked it enough to finished it but I wanted to be done with it near world 3~4.

I try very hard to like it, but it was very frustrating :
- The camera blocked herself in the props in the environnement.
- The music are repetive, I really dislike the casino one the most
- The sound effects aren't what I expect a 2017 game, the noise of the ennemis, or in the casino for exemple we can give some tokens to get the pagies, 10 for 1. If I give 50 tokens I get 5 pagies, and the sound effect are stacking it's sound like a bug.
- Everyone has is own humour but the "voice" of the characters, the fart sounds for some, the weird menu sound, the weird chara design (the minecart, the trolleys, etc..), it's not for me.
- There was a sub-level in the world 5 I couldn't do because when entering the door I died, and when respawning I was locked, I wasn't able to move.
- The boss were not that good too, World 5 and end boss where very janky and frustrating.
- Everyone defending the game has the nostalgia of 3D plateformer from N64, I'm ok with that, but why have we the cons of the N64 games too? The gameplay problems are on the side of level design and game design, it's not modern at all.
- It's minor but it would be great to be able teleport from world to world, to gain time at the end.

Overall the game is janky, but created with passion, and it has a lot of content (I speak only of the pagies, the 200 feathers per world is really an old game mechanics which disappeared in modern games because it's obsolete).

After 100h I didn't finish the main goal, I may be halfway and I love it.
Creating factories combine the creativity of Minecraft with the pleasure to automate the manufacturating of a lot of resources.
Also, the FPS view add some perspective to the world, I prefer it to Factorio.

An amazing soundtrack that let you think (both to philosophy and puzzles), it's obviously great outside of the game to relax or to work in peace.

Everything the one does, this sequel does it, and it's even greater, bigger, better.
A must have in the 3D puzzles genre with a writing that make you think, and a soundtrack that let you think (both to the concepts and to the puzzles).
I only regret the mini puzzles with tetris pieces, the new ones with the bridge aren't my cup of tea.

The soundtrack is amazing, very clever and calm to give you space to think.
