For the Early and mid Game:
The games customization feature of your spells is really amazing and its fun to tinker around to see what works and doesnt.
the enemies are fair and not to hard to learn their attack patterns.
If it was just to this point I would recommend the game:

The Late Game: and why I can't recommend it
Enemies become damage sponges. which wouldn't be a as you can create some pretty broken spells. The problem becomes that the game itself can't handle your creations. The lag becomes is so bad that it becomes impossible to dodge enemy attacks so you slowly but surely be chipped away.
If they fixed that glaring issue I will gladly change my mind.
