I won't lie, ARC Raiders & Battlefield 6 dropping in the same year with GTA VI, Fable and Resident Evil Requiem dropping in 2026.

People say gaming is blighted by greed and laziness, I agree.
Games like this however? Are glimpses of hope. Buy this, support it, play it.

The polish, atmosphere and music alone is worth it. Everything else is a raw bonus.
(Yes I did put this in the same category as GTA VI and RE: Requiem, yes it is that good.)

Game is still hot garbage post update
9 minutes for shader compilation w/ 100GB cache and prio process

For comparison on my machine with the same as above:
Battlefield 6 1:39
Baldurs Gate 3 2:51
Borderlands 4 4:10

- No new content, was excited when I saw in bold "New additions and highlights" only to find it was the decoupling of specialists and some weapons (which are hot garbage, still look like futuristic garbage and I swear to god some of the designs look like unity store rips).
So basically stuff that should have been in the game from the beginning.

- Netcode is jank, server connections are a nightmare, due to the game lacking in players, you'll get zipped to an Asian server with 180+ ping or you'll have an Asian player in your team that is having the most unenjoyable experience.

- UI/UX still looks like an Unreal Engine 5 UI/UX tutorial with edited text to fit the game.

- Playerbase hasn't recovered and has already trended downwards again.

- Steam have shadow banned the game, it doesn't make an appearance on sales pages and the news has also been disabled i.e. at the top of your library page, the "This week" with updates about the games in your library, this update doesn't appear there nor does any news about the game which means Steam itself isn't happy with the game on the platform and it takes a lot for that to happen.

Genuinely hope the studio liquidates, management gets the boot and the devs that forced into spewing this game out get to move on to more enjoyable and prosperous projects and studios.

If you were one of those community managers or leads that sat on stream gushing about how good the game was, you should be ashamed of yourselves. Integrity matters. How we got an EA comeback arc and a Tripwire villain arc in the same year is beyond me. Payday 3 was such a red flag of what not to do and you somehow managed to plant an even bigger flag.

Stay away from this game, even if you see future updates, future content, just stay with KF2. They are still planning store content while this game runs like and feels like garbage.
