For the price (which I got 50% off, so $15), it's good enough, but I would say buy it when it's on sale because I'm not sure there's enough there to justify the full price.

You can definitely take your kawaii waifu for a date with this one, with some unexpected plot twists!
And you can definitely delve into the hack n slash realm with this one as well. There seems to be a healthy balance between the two.

The game warns you at the start that a game controller is highly recommended - and that's not a warning you can ignore for sure. It's doable with a mouse and keyboard, but it is more difficult with the mouse and keyboard. I can't comment on the gameplay with a controller as I don't own a controller.

There are a few bugs - for instance, if you go into the options in the main menu, you can't get out of them conventionally (With the mouse and keyboard, might be able to with controller) and have to reboot the game.

I completed the game in about 12 hours, split across two days, and I basically did all of the content save for the dating path for all of the characters. Again, it's worth it at $15 or on sale.

I was once at work, and I said: "When I get home, I'm going to play ATS" and my buddy Matthew was like: "You go home from your job to play a game where you do another job."

Do you love working so much that you wish you could do it for free? Play this game!

Early Access Review
7 Days to Die is a fine work of art. A game constantly in development, it captures the spirit of the Indie Developer.

The game truly has a good, long-term progress feel. You can spend hours on this and get lost in it so easily! Craft and prepare your way; for every 7 days (or however frequently you'd like, including not at all) there comes massive waves of zombies at your location!

The key thing I'd change is some of the crafting formulas. For example, to make a rifle, you need a piece called, "Rifle Parts". Well, the only way to get Rifle Parts is to scrap rifles you've already found in the world. That... somewhat defeats the purpose of crafting a rifle, except perhaps to make one of better quality.
