Im gonna give this a updoot since recently, it seems like this game suffers from an large influx of "Skill issue" players.

Downloadable fps, literally

This is just a slog. A poor version of Dark Souls but arpg.
Mechanics are terrible, especially for warrior. Body blocking, aoe indicators that isnt accurate, and is just the absolute worst experience you will ever play until act 3.

Edit: Its now ALOT better, its not extremely off balance, now its still teh same loop but its just feels better to play, especially melee

Performance could be better, but it is a S.T.A.L.K.E.R experience alright!

Ive been playing for 100 hours now, and I will probably replay it again when I finish the main campaign, which im soon done with.

Sure it has some problems, and some balance that needs to be fixed.
But playing this with the few mods that is out, its a GREAT experience. The characters are great, you have a sense of that you are creating your own legend in the zone. This game doesnt hold your hands, but if you really immerse yourself in the atmosphere and all the lore that is on notes and by listening to characters. It makes you invest your mind, Not many games does this today and spoon feed you all information without giving your fantasy any time to think for itself. And decisions matter in this game!
