A game from 2016 that was remastered in 2020 that doesn't let you bind the fourth and fifth mouse buttons. I bought the trilogy bundle, but it seems, that I already owned the one part of the trilogy (Mafia II) that was made with an appropriate amount of consideration. As Mafia I has the same problem, I will refund the bundle.

I had to tweak for quite a while to get it to run on my system (which is kind of fair since I use neither Windows nor Steam OS) just to discover that this game from 2020 doesn't let you bind the fourth and fifth mouse buttons. I rely on those heavily since, guess what, they can be bound in games for the last 25 years. There are too many good games out there for me to be willing to put up with this kind of nonsense.

I am only not refunding the game, because the bundle was cheaper for me than buying just Mafia III, which I hope is not that disappointing.

"Major orders" should be renamed to "major part of playtesting".

And while the usually horribly broken balancing *might* be handwaved away with a "git gud", it doesn't matter how gud you git, if the objectives are broken as well.

This game has possibly ruined every other action roguelike for me.

Rebinds do not really work. Many keys have multiple functions of which only one will be transferred to the new bind. The game also seems to be prone to crashing and has mediocre performance at best.

The characters are not credible, the story has a lot of inconsistencies and how the controls and camera got through any kind of QA is beyond me.

I wonder if Microsoft will at some point learn not to ♥♥♥♥ up their games with some account bullshittery or other.

I wanted to return for a quick round just to learn, that I now not only need an Epic account, but also am required to link my Steam account to an Epic account. I'm trying for a late refund.

The game seems to have been dying, so they apparently decided to finish the job by not letting players choose a map anymore.
