The perfect remake doesn't exi-

it's one of the games ever made.

One of the best games of 2021 for me. The story, the levels, the humor is very well done,. Start to finish I have a smile on my face when playing it. I just hope they finished the 3rd one a little bit faster than 15 years. 10/10

The definitive version to get for this trilogy of remakes. Looks and plays great. PC does what consoles don't.

One of the best game I've played in 2013, Valdis Story: Abyssal City is a Metroidvania gem that you don't want to miss. So, what's so good about it you ask?

- Challenging, old school style bosses (a lot of them), you really need to rely on your skill and pattern recognition. No QTEs here.
- Great combo based combat with multiple magic type attacks and a skill cancel/dodge system.
- Good RPG based stats, skill tree and equipment system to customize your heroes with.
- Multiple characters with really different play style.

It really is the best Metroidvania type game available on Steam so far. So if you like games like Dust, Cave Story+, Guacamelee or Aquaria you should pick this up ASAP, for me it's way better than those games and takes me back to a time when all I care about gaming is the pure fun and challenging aspect of it.
