A cop-out, poor excuse for a game in the CoD franchise. Rushed development and nothing but poorly executed management in putting a game together.

I truly hope this franchise returns to what makes players happy.

A sad excuse for a Call of Duty entry.

A weak, recycled, still-broken mess of a game that can't do a single thing right without glitches, bugs, microtransactions, poor management and money-grabbing. Remember when games would come out with zero game-breaking bugs? Not every game. But those games were fixed with patches. And you could could the bugs on one hand. This year's CoD launched with more bugs than the entire life-cycles of some games... It is so disappointing to see this from a franchise I grew up with and have loved so dearly.

This game continues to pump out bundle after bundle of rip-off skins in a mediocre game because it's all about money and nothing to do with care for the game or franchise. There are bugs and glitches in this game that existed and were a huge problem in MWII that are still going unfixed. Why? Because Activision Blizzard are only interested in the bottom line. They forced these talented studios to rush work and get as much content out as quickly as possible and it just turns into a jumbled mess.

I can imagine that the teams making content for this game have spent more time in meetings about skin/bundle ideas instead of actual content meetings.

In two words: Zero care.

A good Campaign and Multiplayer for it's time, but not a lot compares to the Zombies mode...

I'm an avid zombies fan and enjoyed the classic maps in Call of Duty: World at War, but this game really, truly upped the ante in terms of what was possible in the round-based zombie survival mode that was pioneered just two years prior. With TEN maps to choose from (including remasters of the four original/classic maps), this game is flush with content if you were impressed with the initial entry in the zombie-murdering mode.

Impressively thought out story-lines that, unfortunately, I believe were ruined in later games with over-complicated nonsense and unimpressive mechanics. But all in all, I think that the zombies-based story-line in this game is engaging, funny and just downright fun to play! The gameplay is great, the mechanics, weapons, Pack-a-Punch, perks... It just encapsulates that perfect balance between fun, fear and excitement.

Overall, a cracking game that I have played for many hundreds of hours (probably thousands), and one that I will continue to look back on very fondly.
