I don't always love platformers o metroidvanias, but I have not been able to stop smiling as I play this game. Absolutely excellent.

Excellent game! I only wish that there were slightly more opportunities to ask people about the potential consequences of things. Imperfect information is a big part of what makes this game special, but there are many times when you’ll be prompted to sign a bill or adjust budgets or fund a project, without getting the chance to ask any of your advisors or cabinet members about them. On a first play-through, you also have a budget to assign at one point, and you aren’t told how much that will cost until the decision is right on top of you. None of your economic ministers tell you how much debt you can support either. These aren’t dealbreakers as they reward repeat playthroughs, but it would be nice to just have a few more chances to consult with people.

This DLC rocks so far, where I've payed exclusively as an adventurer so far. Mercenary gameplay takes great advantage of the travel and tournament mechanics, and the contracts I've taken have generally feel well built with the exception of hired muscle contracts.

There does feel as if there's missed potential with a lack of engagement with cultural mechanics. It would be cool to diverge into your own camp-specific culture, but the current camp and culture mechanics currently don't allow for that.

Overall my feeling is that this might be one of the best DLCs so far due to how it enables a totally new style of play. I reccommed this at base price, and highly reccommend it if you can buy it on sale.

Though I had played D&D before, I had never played a CRPG before Baldur's Gate III. While initially hesitant, I became absolutely enthralled. This game was some of the most fun I've ever had with an RPG, and seeing the sheer volume of content and possibilities was jaw dropping. There was a moment in Act 1 where I thought to myself "I wonder if by using this spell, I can see what's at the bottom of this lethal-looking hole." Lo and behold, I stumbled across a brand new section of the map that felt like a nearly 30% increase in map size. Deja Vu to finding Siofra River in Elden Ring.

One word of warning though: this game is long, and in my opinion the best material is at the start of the game in the first map area (Act 1). If you're not enjoying yourself within the first 4-6 hours, this game is probably not for you.

Overall: Highly recommend to any RPG fan, even if not a lover of turn-based combat. It might grow on you like it did for me.

Still one of the most fun realistic/newtonian rocket building/exploration games there is. I never played KSP2 (I was waiting for full release, thankfully), and sunk hours into playing this game with heavily modded savefiles.

The modding community is still thriving. I will warn that with the game IP now changing hands, there's a high likelihood that much of the content on the official forums could be lost, which could be a big blow to the modding community, but most modders still have pages on Spacedock and Github.

Overall: Highly recommended to any fans of space exploration, rocket engineering, or near-future science fiction.

While early on it lacked the depth CK2 accumulated through the sheer number of DLCs and mods the second game received, CK3 is a phenomenal blend of strategy and personal intrigue. I love how the game uses stress to encourage you to play the way your character's personality would indicate, while still allowing you to act out of character - struggling against your nature to do what's best for your dynasty/realm.

Because of this, I think this game may be worth a shot even if you're not traditionally a fan of grand strategy. If you're a fan of political intrigue, there could be enough here to keep you engaged. My brother is not a fan of strategy at all, but as a Game of Thrones fan, he was able to sink hours into this game.

While I haven't kept up with the DLC and updates, the new free additions that have come along with the new DLC have looked great. I think legitimacy does a good job of rewarding lawful play styles and adds some fun emergent gameplay - no more marrying random beautiful peasants. Plagues look like they have potential to bring mortality rates up to be more in line with what one would expect historically. I've heard people say that these mechanics need balancing but I can't comment on this as I've not spent much time with them yet.

Overall: I recommend this to fans of strategy games and more broadly to fans of political intrigue.

I get that it's supposed to be a parable of something, but listening to that patronizing voice droning on and on just isn't fun. You constantly have to stop doing anything so the narrator can catch up with his long-winded explanations of what's happening. I wish there was a skip button.

Cute, satisfying to solve, and actually difficult! Often times you won't be at a total loss for what to do as the arrangement of blocks in a puzzle will give you a clue of what you need to end up doing - a sort of built-in hint system I appreciated. That said, actually finding out how to execute a solution was a lot harder than I expected going in. This game tickles my brain in a really satisfying way, and I'd recommend it to anyone even moderately interested in puzzle games.
