Unfortunately like a lot of these games, the devs focus exclusively on the unsustainable top end ranked players and have abandoned appealing to the mainstream player base, no more fun modes or events, even basic bug fixing isn't happening anymore (Equipment level reset animation bug anyone?).
Clearly the aim is to capitalise on the cash shop while they still can, while appeasing the top players but Embark's attention is elsewhere.

One of the best boomer shooters to grace our screens, would love to see some new episodes or a sequel, or even some modding tools. It's not the deepest, or most stylish or satisfying, but perhaps the finest balanced of the modern day boomer shooter. Highly recommended!

There is nothing salvageable from this monstrosity of a game, from the thread bare and infuriating campaign, to the broken multiplayer. The game is so fundamentally broken, it can never be fixed, just move on to better games. I know that it is unique in it's feel and it's hard to find an alternative, but the engine is so broken, the game design so poorly thought out. Microsoft should have canned the project once they realised there was no coming back. Go read a book, paint your house, cut your fingers off, all of those are a better use of your time. What an utter disaster.

Fantastic to play with friends, the co-op campaign is excellent, and the overwatch mode is heaps of fun, absolute steal at this price.
