A great third-person shooter/RPG hybrid focused on combat, cover mechanics, and gear upgrades.

It's quite fast paced and so much fun, I have finished it a bunch of times on xbox and so picked it up on Steam in the recent sale.

I have played solo and multiplayer, and it's great fun both ways (prefer solo, but that's just me). Dark zones for PVP are nice for mixing things up, but the environment and mechanics make this a great fun game to play regardless of what you prefer.

And, of course, it runs great on Linux.

Reminds me of an awesome game I played back in the early '90s. Can't remember what it was called, MOOD or something, but this is the spitting image and it's great.

No, seriously, it's great to be able to play this on modern systems. It's a great port, easy to pick up and play, and there's heaps of content included. Well worth the seven bucks for me and my brother to reminisce about playing it as kids.

And, of course, it runs great on Linux.

Wall World is a fun little game where you dig holes in the side of the wall to get resources, and defend your base back out on the wall when it gets attacked.

I have no idea of the deeper mechanics yet, but I'm looking forward to finding them out. It's fun, it's simple, and it's worth your time for a few dollars.

I don't think anyone is going to change their life after playing this game, but then they probably don't expect to.

Yep, I'll give it a recommend. And, of course, it runs great on Linux (which I guess doesn't much need to be said anymore, but whatever).

Just as good as the reviews say it is. Addictive, full of character and fun as anything - it's all about building systems upon systems and satisfying game mechanics. Highly recommended - and, of course, it runs great on Linux.

Honestly, such a great game - but you need to use the manual (included with purchase) and possibly check online guides if you haven't played before.

The reason we like games like this is the depth of mechanics in the background. Many modern games don't prioritise this as much because they have fancy graphics and UIs, but games like Pizza Tycoon (Connection) were all about learning the systems and winning that way.

Great game if you have the patience to learn, or it's something you've played before.

Never played a survival game before, and I enjoyed this one. The controls are maddening on controller, but I'm told they're not so bad on keyboard.

I have to say, there's a bit of polish that's missing - some spelling mistakes and a few things that don't really make sense in how the game is put together - but overall an experience I enjoyed.

Game loads well, plays well in Linux, graphics are great, and I found the systems to be pretty well thought out. A good buy for less than ten bucks.

Works great on Linux - the native client is almost impossible to get working so it's a big deal.

Very happy to have this online, one of my favourite games of all time.

Stop thinking, buy the game.

As a car guy, I'm a fan. Many of the parts and how they work together is pretty accurate (although I'm not a mechanic). The main part of car work this game doesn't get right is the pain in the a*s it is to actually get at most of these parts, but it's a fun way to spend time and tries to be fairly realistic in diagnosis and repair.

Good fun all 'round if you're a fan of cars, it's super chill, has a very gentle goal of making money that you can follow or not. Biggest gripe is that you're chucked in on your own with no instructions or suggestions how to play whatsoever. That nearly put me off, but once I got the hang of it I'd say it was worthwhile.

Doesn't work properly in Linux (Steam Deck/Proton). The map tiles don't render properly, just showing the starry UI interface background - so I could only run it for long enough to leave this review.

Regardless of developer intention, games should be built properly so that emulation of this nature works. There's no excuse for poor workmanship, and issues like this are how you tell. Ever wonder why it's only "most" games that work under proton? It's because the people who make the others aren't any good at their jobs.

For context, this issue has been widely reported and the developers have responded to say they know about it - more than five years ago. Still no fix.

Not recommended.

An interesting visual novel type game where there aren't any environments to explore, just conversation choices to make (and themes that the game wants to discuss).

It's an interesting take, and not a bad way to spend time - but I felt the game was too heavy-handed in forcing an anxiety-centric viewpoint, and that it didn't serve the narrative well.

While anxiety is a personal journey for each of us, choices in the game were blocked off because the characters mood/state didn't allow them to be chosen. I felt many of those options were shown just to help you identify that they were the right choice, and then show you that you can't choose them, thereby forcing a comparison about the choice you were able to make, and pushing you into a certain narrative and to experience things in a certain way.

It's like if someone was to call you selfish, and accuse you of using the last of the toothpaste as evidence - but it's toothpaste, it's innocuous, and you need to use it anyway. The right (wrong) person can twist it, and that's what I felt the game was doing.

I got it heavily discounted and while I don't regret my purchase, I wouldn't recommend others buy it for anything like full price.
