Now that the optimization patch has come through, the game feels quite smooth and runs great on my rig (it is a bit of a shame that these weren't implemented BEFORE the game's launch, as this was its biggest issue, and led to many instances of time loss simply due to shader compilation stutter and big, long hangs). Force feedback and sound are excellent, and the overall driving experience is fantastic and feels authentic. It's a shame that it has become standard for games to release with such glaring issues but I'm glad these performance issues have been worked out.

As is the norm, I wish there was a mixed option. It's Halo, and it's on PC. It has tons of technical issues that make playing it extremely jank, but the jank is fun. So far this game is an absolute blast to play if you can look past all the broken stuff, and if they actually commit to improving, it can only go up from the state that it's currently in.

The phrase "every pixel is physically simulated" is extremely accurate, I've never played a game as gorgeous and satisfying as this one. It'll kick your ass though

Absolutely fantastic game for fans of Roguelikes such as The Binding of Isaac or Enter the Gungeon. If you're gonna try it, make sure you get the Nuclear Throne Together mod to remove the framerate lock and play in 16:9 or whatever resolution your monitor is! Gameplay is fast and frantic, and you can die in the blink of an eye, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ makes you want to hit retry and keep playing.
