Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has one of the most magnificent looking worlds out there in the game industry. The art style and the atmosphere is fantastic, at times I just stood there enjoying the scenery while listening to the soundtrack. I adore how mysterious the world is and the premise of the story is very interesting. Once a year a "Gommage" happens - the Paintress paints a number and people of that age disappear. Death is inevitable - every year the number goes down, so people go on expeditions to break the cycle and make sure that the Paintress never wakes up again.

This game excels every aspect of the "turn-based combat" genre.

• I like the fact that you have to execute your attacks via Quick Time Events and dodge, parry or even jump over the incoming attacks.
  
• Every character has their unique playstyle (for example Maelle has 3 different stances which give her different benefits - to get the most out of her kit, you should switch between all stances as often as possible).
  
• You have so much freedom with your character builds. When exploring, you receive Pictos which give you extra stats and passive effects. Combine them to make your characters stronger. Every character has a skill tree which contains A LOT of different skills. Choose your favorite skills to fit your preferred playstyle.

It is crazy that this is the studio's first game.
The game is just 50€. Buy the game to support these awesome developers, so we can get more projects like this.

I really enjoyed playing this game. I am really excited for the full game!

I liked pretty much everything about this game. I recommend this game for everybody who likes a lot of action.

Challenging game.. especially for your PC

If you have VR, you must buy this game.
Best VR game so far.

Pros:
+frequent updates
+level editor
+multiplayer (plugin needed, but they will add it officialy in the game later)
+plugins (avatars, sabers,...)

Cons:
-nothing, it's perfect

Best game for relaxing. It's really short but It's fun.

- It's really short (15 minutes - 20 minutes)

But overall, I highly recommend. :)
