its good but horribly balanced, some missions are too easy some are too hard, certain builds allow you to kill bosses in one turn.
doing anything to any knight requires a month+ wait time. big part of these tactic games is growing attached to your troops which does not happen if you have to keep swapping them out because:
1) the knight you were given has bad bad default abilities and resetting them takes 30 days
2) the grandmaster decided he needs your top guy for uhhhh "reasons" 60 days
3) your second best guy is being trained to become a paladin(he dies in training)

its great despite many announces.

the bad: no mini map, bad save system, minor bugs with enemies, some issues with testing areas not being opened correctly through cameras, camera system to unlock doors is annoying, upgrade system is annoying(why the hell is there a progress bar for something that i have to interact with very frequently), dodges sometimes dont work, parkour feels very sluggish, movement is floaty which is awful for platformers, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ dream sequence, dialogue stops when combat starts and doesnt continue, the UI is awful(game doesnt show you what you actually found already in a dungeon), no mini map again and also no custom map markers.

the good: despite all this I love it. great visuals, great dialogue(WHEN THE GAME DOESNT SHUT IT OFF), nice story, fun puzzles, great choices of music. its worth it even without the discount.

if a dev reads this: I CHEATED IN TESTING AREA 10 YOU CAN DRAG A CANDEL FROM THE DOOR BEFORE IT CLOSES, AND GET IT INTO THE NEXT ROOM HAHA GO PLAY PORTAL LOSER LMAO.

they really don't make games like this anymore, I can tell it was made with love. I'm really looking forward to their next projects

its really good, better than 3.
i dont like gating progression behind NG+ though and encrypting the player ID into the save game is not very nice. either than that its peak as good as DS1 and a great continuation to the series.

Its good, very unpolished tho i can see why silk won.
bad fast travel, resource management/upgrade mechanics, its really annoying until act 3
combat is fun but some dodge windows dont make sense until you freeze your camera in the center, leveling stuff is a bit of a grind.

oh yeah and ♥♥♥♥ the platforming idc dont @ me

I dont like it when games swap protagonists in a series but I'm willing to hear them out.

game was so good I forgot to write a review, I also finished once before on epic.

story and gameplay are both great but some of the weapons are blatantly better than others, progression is fine, music is very good, though i still wish they spent more time on balance, spin for example is one of the worst weapons no matter what you do with it.

its really bad,
combat is too stiff zero animation cancelling, you have very bad mobility and methods for cutting distance with enemies, sprinting is non existent, the difficulty curve goes to 900 for a bit during the middle of the game then dies, also the map/compass is an abortion. the tornado level is God awful.

awful, runs worse than 10 years ago. couldn't even start a new game because it was bugged.

words(steam review standards) do not allow me to describe how much I "mislike" Bethesda for ruining two of my favorite series.
