So well put together, I feel like I need to think about how each person will react before recommending it.

::There could be more to the game I haven't found yet. ::

-Simple yet deeper than it looks
-Really fun gunplay with a jamming system that will probably at least once have you go from thinking you have an easy drop on an enemy to running around a corner in a panic trying to clear your weapon. Also soft cover and hard exist here.
-Progression exist in unlocking: levels, purchasing stat boosting items, base upgrades, weapons, and weapons parts and ammo.
-Levels do well at at least feeling pretty large
-There's a reward system for completing certain task/bounties
-Even though the polygon count is low, the physics and style choice do well at what was intended.

-I can't think of any real complaints. The worst thing I've experienced is getting the player character model for a very short period of time stuck on some geometry that wasn't probably intended to be climbed on.

This is one of those games you buy to just because it cost less than lunch and it looks interesting. Then you play it and wonder how it's flying under the radar. Blueberry no.

A fun retro looking arcade F1 racing game that looks simple on the surface but has some deeper mechanics that you wouldn't expect. Such as damage, fuel weight, a nemesis/rival system, crew choices, random events during the seasons, interactive pit stops, wear on parts other than just the tires, and dynamic weather. It's not perfect, but I can't think of anything that it's "bad" at.

I'll keep it short:
A great game, that may turn some off, due to gameplay not always being high action 24/7. But if you can get the hang of it, as much there is heavy resource management, when it clicks in those fast paced moments, you can feel like an action hero.

The story in my opinion is also great, lots of games have adopted a more grounded story. But TLoU can still punch you in the chest with emotion. Additionally as a gamer from the early 90's, it's was one of the first games next Bioshock Infinite to give you a companion who felt like they helped you, more than turn you into a babysitter, plus was as important as the main character.

As far as this version as a pure product, you get the DLC, but you won't PS's multiplayer mode. And even though I haven't run into the issues, and I love the game, I can't pretend that there's (or was) some bugs recently (AT LAUNCH), that can cause those who aren't in love to get frustrated with it or make the game feel unplayable.

I don't think the game is that great. It's okay. The idea is unique, the environment is interesting, but every fan that screams that this game is underrated is always saying the same thing. "The ecosystem and creatures are so great." The ecosystem is cool but the game is nothing special in my opinion. I spent half the time fighting controls and the enemy RNG spawning that could immediately block or kill you making you lose progress. I'm not saying don't buy it. It might be what you like, but it's not some hidden gem. And it's not about the difficulty of handling enemies, it's about not feeling like I could control the character in moments where small mistakes will get you killed and cause you to start all over again in a game that refuses to tell where you should be going on top of being heavily reliant on time management and check points.

Again maybe it is for you. But if you're buying this off of being told by a Youtuber that the ecosystem is next level, you'll probably be disappointed.

I'm gonna keep it simple. This game blends a lot of genres. There's a little of Sim City + Rise of Nations +Age of Empires + Pirates. I love it.

There's not a lot to say. If you've thought about buying this game after watching/reading about it, you know what it is... Just buy it. If you have kids, keep them away. This is a lil different than the games we kept under our bed.
