What you will need:
A scale, Aluminium foil, a saucepan, three cups, a piece of cloth, 1 dl of acetone, a bowl, a jar, some spoons and safety glasses. Optional: A grater and gloves.

Start by measuring up some sulphur (10g), charcoal (15g) and some KNO3 (75g). Mix the sulphur and charcoal until it's a homogenous mixture. Boil 50ml of water in a pot and add the KNO3 to the water. Wait for the KNO3 to dissolve in the water (the solution should look clear when it's done), then turn down the heat to medium heat. Add the mixture of charcoal and sulphur to the pot. Stir it gently and try to make everything solve. Be sure to scrape off everything that is stuck to the walls of the saucepan.

Once everything has dissolved, it is time to take the pot off the stove and move it to a safe place. At this point you will pour the acetone into the solution. Be careful to not pour it too fast. Stir the solution when you are pouring the acetone. Take your piece of cloth and put it over a bowl, then pour the solution over the cloth. Grab the cloth and squeeze out all of the fluids until there is none left. In this step it is good to wear some type of gloves because you will be getting acetone all over your hands.

When you remove the cloth the blackpowder will appear as a crumbly ball. Crush the ball or grind it against a grater, then spread out he blackpowder on a sheet of aluminium foil. Keep the blackpowder under a kitchen fan to shorten the drying time.
