The above describes every Rust server I have attempted to play on.
Worst community of any game I have ever played: all players KOS without any communication. Or at least when there is communication it is a pre-teen screaming abuse at how he will "smash your head in and eat it". (Quite why the devs encourage killing new spawns for resources I have no idea).

Sadly the premise of this sort of "survival" game encourages this toxic style of play.

I imagine it would probably be fun when playing with a group of friends. Certainly, as a solo player don't count on ever finding anyone remotely helpful.

I bought this game thinking that the premise was excellent: a survival game where you could create communities and make friends. Save yourself a lot a frustration and spend your money on something else.

Owned since release, the game has received numerous updates, each improving on the underlying (excellent!) game. There's a huge amount of content, and many different styles of play using all the different weapons - certainly in my 200+ hours there are still some I haven't used. Plus, the long awaited 1.3 update promises to add a tonne of new stuff!
My advice: play it with friends for more fun!
If your friends don't own it why not?
The 4 pack is such good value for the amount of enjoyment and time that you will get out of this game.

I can't recommend it enough.
