Now that the launch issues are done with, I can confidently say that this is a fun game. It is a lot like Ark, but the large amount of extra features and differences warrant a new name imo. The multi-server mega map is great, lots of areas to explore and conquer. My biggest complaint at the moment is that it's too easy to lose ships when docked. People can roll up and waste a docking area of ships in 10 mins or less. Not much time to respond. I think it would lend more to the pirate theme of the game if ships had more permanence for the amount of work that is needed to build and maintain them. Other than that, the PvP, taming, farming, sailing, etc is all great.

I can't stop playing this game! I really enjoy the adventuring aspect of it, compared to Minecraft which I find much less accessible. Build a house, dig for ore, make weapons and armor, kill kill KILL!
